4th CONFERENCE ON LAW EDUCATION AND INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION

Call for Papers
This 4th Conference on Law Education and Information and Communication
Technologies aims to encourage reflection on the use of ICTs in teaching
law and how they can be incorporated into teaching activities both at
universities which, like the UOC, have developed a distance education
model and those where ICTs are a complementary tool in the learning
process for both faculty and students alike.
We herby invite scholars, practitioners and policy makers to participate
in the 4th Conference on Law Education and Information and Communication
Technologies by submitting papers focusing on the following topics:
* Planning teaching using ICTs.
* Virtual platforms and learning assessment.
* Practical training in law and ICTs.
* Collaborative tools.
Abstracts in English or Spanish using the template provided should be
emailed to . The message must include the author's name and email
address, their specialist area and university, the paper's title, the
corresponding subject area and an abstract of up to 200 words by 25
February 2013.
Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to send the full paper by
4 March, 2013. Full papers should not exceed 4,000 words in length,
excluding notes and references. For the full paper authors should use
the conference template that will be available to download from the web.
The full papers will be peer-reviewed as well. All papers accepted will
be included in the proceedings of the Conference, which will hold an
ISBN number. Accepted papers may also be selected for oral presentation
at the Conference.
Key dates
* 25 February 2013: Deadline for abstracts.
* 4 March 2013: Notification of acceptance of
abstracts.
* 15 April 2013: Deadline for originals (full
papers)
* 7 June 2013: Conference.
